Am I the only one who saw a shiny one these and thought it was a shiny Pokémon? Was literally screaming then it was a fucking tumblestone glowing.

No. I thought it was a shiny too I was punching my roommate because it was early game and I’m a shiny autist. I then realized it’s a rock.
Kept getting jump scared by them in fact until I learned shinies don’t periodically sparkle they only sparkle once on spawn (so you might miss it if it spawns off your screen) and it’s an ugly cartoony star like in sun moon instead of like a glittery effect

Thankfully it has a fairly distinct audio cue too. I'd recommend catching the guaranteed ponyta and keep throwing it out so you can 100% recognize it. It's the same sound, but louder.

I was in heavy fog and heard it, which led me to a shiny goomy. I'm thankful because I didn't see the star sparkle.

Actually good idea I have some shinies from outbreak hunts but haven’t fully attuned to the sound so I’m gonna do that I’ve easily missed a bunch from missing the visual and the audio blending into other sound effects and music
Is shiny goomy yellow? Then evolves back into purple with gold shell?

I know I’m severely autistic about shinies very much a “THERE IT IS” moment
But other autistic hunters will understand, I think, the feeling of stumbling onto (what you think is) a random shiny at the beginning of a game

I barely get any reaction from finding shinies specially because I hunt them, I just got used to finding them. How are you not used to that as a hunter yourself?

I don’t get the autistic excitement from when I’m intentionally hunting, just a normal dopamine hit. But a random “full odds” overworld shiny I wasn’t expecting while I’m at the beginning of a brand new game I’m already enjoying, or something very rare like an alpha shiny, recipe for autistic reaction for me.
