Quilfish is literally a water type. Why would it lose this typing in Sinnoh? Why does it gain dark?

honestly after years of looking at fakemon pokemon evos kinda wish they went for a more unique typing like electric/poison or steel/poison. You can slap a dark typing to any poison type to buff it and we already have three dark/poison lines. it is what it is, the designs goofy but nice and the stats are good

I really think someone from the Splatoon team had a hand in its design, or someone at GF was inspired by it.
It's cool and Qwilfish deserves it, but it hurts to look at. Have that weird thing where I cringe when looking at sharp objects.

I didn't say that fish shouldn't be water type, I said they should also be normal type, and most bird pokemon are in fact flying/normal.
