Especially the part about throwing a Pokeball and the one with the copypasted houses is pretty accurate, if I think about it now, the older games, say up until Gen 4 looked very nice in their pixel style, but the routes and many towns were just as empty as PLA, and the only "content" on routes in older games were random encounters that a good chunck of players would try to avoid anyways with a repel when visiting a route a second or third time to avoid seeing the same Pokemon again
