I’m a Hoennfag SwSh-enjoyer and I think it’s people like me who hate PLA. I know this is part of the Discord pissing wars (only participated in by troons and fags mind you) so it’s probably useless to elaborate, but I’m gonna do it anyways to better Race Relations on the board.
Gen 4 + 5 are the only regions I hate, the DS nearly killed Pokemon to me; you could guess my reaction to PLA. The amount of Unovashilling is such an awful cherry on top of the cringe levels of Sinnooooooooooh lore, I don’t get how you could conclude that Unovabortions hate it. As a Hoennfag I hate seeing the 2 worst Gens get shilled as the gen tailormade for a primal prequel gets ignored; but after seeing the end result I’m glad Hoenn is untouched.
The game is egregiously bad looking, truly awful. Yeah, the Wild Area’s ugly, but SwSh isn’t all Wild Area, it wasn’t even 25% Wild Area. Wild Area was the worst, ugliest, most boring part of the otherwise good SwSh, yet they opted to turn it into a whole game. Prioritizing tasks over trainers is gay, combat is Pokemon’s main draw for me; I get why it appeals to JRPG fags who want Pokemon to be like every RPG ever, but a game with less trainer battles than Crystal has gym leaders is not one I want to play and I don’t get how people prefer it to the league quest, there’s not even any fucking dungeons. The music/characters are good but that’s a given for Pokemon, that’s not a point in its favor. Everything from the endless quests to the crafting system to the BotW mounts just feels so fucking fruity and soi, it’s a Redditor game and the Redditors are eating it up. Barely any new Pokemon and pretty much all of them suck, barely any trainers, overloaded with story and menial quests, I don’t see how any true Pokemon fan can enjoy this game (and it seems the true fans coincidentally aren’t the ones enjoying it)
