>>49519231I think you're doing it slightly wrong. At the point where you reset (after clearing out the outbreak), you should instead be travelling back to Jubilife, then back to the map, and saving again (assuming the outbreak is still there - otherwise you'd still need to reset).
Think of what you're doing like this: you've saved on seed 1. You clear out the outbreak, reset, and go to Jubilife and back. You're now on seed 2. You check the outbreak, no shiny, so you reset. Now youre back on seed 1. Going to Jubilife and back only puts you back to seed 2, which you've already checked. Resetting puts you in an infinite loop of checking seed 2.
What you should be doing is more like this: Save when you arrive on the map (seed 1). Check the outbreak, return to Jubilife, return to map and save (now on seed 2). Check outbreak, return to Jubilife, return to map and save (now on seed 3), etc. By continually saving on the latest seed, you keep progressing your reset point, checking new seeds every time.
