Tradition vs Innovation is one of Unova's big themes— along with Truth and Ideals, so the setting will probably reflect this. Victorian era comes to mind, but Galar would be the best region for this, not Unova. Maybe we'll get some wild west frontier kino, with cowboys and indians and outlaws and mexicans.

That said, Arceus will probably still be the one who sends you back, unless the Original Dragon somehow has time powers too.
