>>49515927Favorite Ghost line actually
Despite all the zigzags the line goes through with designs and motifs, they still progressively build up being hollow sans an internal flame-like eye as a lantern monster like a chochin or jack-o-lantern.
>Duskull starts off the likeness of a lantern by the way it shares one eyeball >Dusclops reworks Duskull's skull design into outreached mummy hands, and Duskull's arms into mummy rags, which it still raises like arms when attacking. Interestingly, Dusclops has hands that are separate from their arms, and when Dusknoir forgoes being a mummy, it synthesizes the arms and hands together>Dusclops doesn't float around and looks wrapped up like a mummy, turning it into a pupa-like stage, and a mummy is the best way a Ghost type could tackle a pupa stage >Dusknoir goes back to being more of a nukekubi like Duskull by floating around and mostly consisting of a giant face on its torso, while still retaining traits like Dusclop's gourd shape and stripes, the latter now glowing in part of the lantern theme, but also gives Dusknoir a halo, or golden bands that go along with it forgoing legs to make it genie-likeI really do like each stage standalone, and seeing how each stage entirely rework the other stage's designs, giving each stage its own unique personality from each other with how they tackle these threads of ideas.
