>3 stage grass fire water starter>2 stage early game normal type mammal>3 stage early game flying type bird>3 stage early game bug type insect>single stage electric type pikaclone>at least 1 single stage standalone weirdo>at least 1 pair of version exclusives>3 stage dragon type pseudolegendary>pair of cover legendaries>a "3rd" legendary to said pair of cover legendaries>at least 1 mythical, isn't always a part of the base gamegeneral recurring concepts that don't always happen:
>2 stage early game dark type (usually a canine)>2 stage dog in general>2 stage grass type mushroom (happens every odd numbered generation)>3 stage rock type (only happened 3 times)>fossils (I WOULD say a pair of 2 stage rock types but the gen 8 ones shook things up so who knows what future fossils will be like)
