With how well PLA overshadowed BDSP, what are the odds you guys think that ILCA abandons the idea of releasing the updates to finish off BDSP? We still have the GTS off limits as well as events for Shaymin, Darkrai, and bringing over a Deoxys to get the additional forms. Just a big ol’ fuck it and move on.

The more threads I see by the poor people who got scammed by BDSP the more I'm convinced they were last minute games to generate some extra cash in the holiday season and make up for the lack of a 2021 release due to Covid. Especially with them releasing on cart the way that they did and requiring a day one patch. What a fucking travesty, here I thought Let's Go were the absolute bare minimum.

Personal bet is on them throwing out a big "Mythical Update" when Home Support happens later down the year. Dump the event items for Shaymin, Darkrai, and Arceus in random places in the post game, maybe add a 2nd floor to the Discovery Room in Ramanas for Deoxys, and leave it at that. I'm probably being too optimistic, but it's something I can see happening

What updates? All I've seen so far are bug fixes because of how incredibly bad the game was coded. Did you really expect a throwaway remake was going to get updates for platinum content?

I feel like PLA was supposed to be the actual Sinnoh remake equivalent, and BDSP was just something made to pacify people who would be upset over the lack of a traditional remake.

Still waiting for that fucking traditional remake as well as the """"real""" pokemon game that was announced to come out after LGPE
FRLG, HGSS and ORAS all added shitloads of new shit AND updated the pokedex to the newest gen at the time.
BDSP's sole new content is just adding overworld encounters on the underground instead of fucking doing it above ground because I don't fucking know. EVEN goddamn LGPE did that right

I have to admit man, LGPE at least had decent graphics for what it wanted to achieve. Minimal changes? Yes, but that’s Kanto for you. Mega evolutions were a nice endgame thing, but anytime you hear Kanto has its hand in a title, you know you won’t get much.

That said, LGPE had the most balanced online battling due to the restrictive Pokédex (and Melmetal destroyed all of them lol).
