I honestly really like Jynx. I like the idea that there are a huge variety of pokemon in the world, and some of them are monsters in a different sense than others. I always thought being 10 years old and wandering around in a deep, dark cave, miles from home where no one can hear you or help you, and encountering this creepy-ass thing, which you've probably never even heard of before and have no idea wtf it is--it moves like a human, talks like a human, but incomprehensible, looks like a human but also not really, and you have no idea wtf to do--would be a freaky and disturbing experience in a way that fighting Rhydon or Gyarados just isn't.
