Honestly, at least in these threads, I see more people going "PvP being removed was GOOD, compfags ruin everything" more than I see people going "man no PvP sucks." Granted, the former are likely shitposting retards, but still. I don't actually think PLA needs PvP but it would certainly make more sense than any of those other games you listed.

while this board may make it seem like competitive Pokemon fans make up half the fan base, the truth is that they are an incredibly small minority of fans that gather in places like this especially because their hobby is so niche (not to mention embarrassing to most adults).
it does not matter how much they cry, the wheels of PoCo are not turned by them and after these mega sales numbers, PoCo will likely begin to leave them behind in favor of more interesting game formats.
