Arms dealers, investors/bankers with funny last names, and the higher-ups of the world’s militaries would intentionally get our asses kicked just for money while the media gaslights the dumb general public into believing we can’t just send several ICBMs at the Pokemon Army.
No, Humanity would destroy the Pokemon army easily, but instead the greed of the people in charge will make it so we get our asses kicked, billions will die, billions will believe that there is nothing we could have done, and anyone that is the wiser to this scheme will be a fringe minority.
Eventually the Pokemon would overwhelm humanity after we lose unintentionally, then the greedy people in charge start intergrating Pokemon into daily life, which is terrible for everyone else.
All jobs are taken in by Pokemon. Labour intensive jobs are taken by Fighting types like Machamp and Conkeldurr, technical jobs are now done by Metagrosses and other intelligent Pokemon. Education is solely Oranguru, who now just team Pokemon how to do jobs. Unskilled jobs like Cashiers are done by Pokemon with Pokemon that can’t sleep up until the Psychics make the AI to do those unskilled jobs.
Basically any human that isn’t born into a family of wealth or elitist position have to live in the woods now, since they can’t get a job and there is no welfare when Pokemon are obedient with just a Pokeball. Since those humans are evicted, can’t make money, and originally were used to a life in a contemporary society, they all pretty much starve to death or live like the wild animals they just fought.
