They bought SWSH but now that they've seen a meaningful change in the games' design towards something far far closer to what the rest of the industry has to offer, will Gamefreak really be able to out that genie back in the bottle? The Pokemon fan base has been insulated from the rest of video games for years now, but PLA seems like it puts Gamefreak at serious risk if they choose to continue resting on their laurels.
