Yes, give pvpfags their own game spanning several single-player games (entire console generation) with consistent competitive rules and rebalancing as needed rather than between single-player games.

No, but stuffing every game that takes place in a very small zone with every single pokemon is too much. Times when there were 300-500 pokemon total are long past (and putting 10-15 of them in a mirror game was FACTUAL cringe).
Nintendo needs to make better hardware to allow for more expansive games.

There is nothing wrong with dex cuts. I don't know why people want every thing every in every game, it doesn't make any sense. Use different pokemon, try new things. There is no lack of variety even if your #1 favourite isn't represented.

Reducing the Pokemon found in the game is fine. Not being able to transfer other Pokemon in factually limits variety. You assume people only want to use the same Pokemon over and over. While that may be true for some, many want the option to play with Pokemon they didn't get to before most likely due to time.

Right now, the franchise is in the dumps. The graphics, gameplay, platform distribution, and multiplayer features have never been as far behind the industry as they are now. It's time to go back to Kanto, and make the best version of Kanto. Really make use of the modern video game techniques.

it's not, but the battle system in PLA isn't balanced at all for pvp and needs major reworks
it is good that they tried something new with battles
I hope they end up trying something like agile/strong in the more mainline games if we ever get stuff like those, like being able to make moves go up one priority in exchange for halved damage and only being able to do it once a match, or do extra damage, but again, you can do it once per battle
but it's bad that it ended up being deeply non-competitive

Or how every other platform dropped the pretence and switched to the PC hardware? Literally AMD platforms but integrated.
Obviously Nintendo would stick to a proprietary OS, it's time to move to a better hardware. Xbone prides itself as the only console that hasn't been hacked, Nintendo would love that for sure.

1. That's in SwSh. You don't need more than one flagship comp game per generation. SwSh is all you need for Gen 8.

This is a SwSh problem, and I totally agree with you here. Not having all the Pokemon in SwSh is unforgivable, and it will be very disappointing if the same is true of Gen 9's flagship titles. PLA is perfectly fine though, because it's not the competitive home, and they actually improved models and animations for it.

Online and multiplayer should stay and be expanded in mainline games, in a spinoff it makes sense to focus on what the game itself is trying to do.
Removing pokemon makes sense in a spin-off game since it's not meant to be compatible with mainline games and should instead focus on a more curated, tight experience. getting Arceus only after obtaining all the national dex mons would be an enormous pain, for example.
Gameplay variety shouldn't be removed, but gamefreak already removes gameplay elements gen-to-gen. I do think there should be more ways to interact with your pokemon in PLA, but it wouldn't make sense for there to be contests for example.

I hope they take a few key lessons from PLA and use them for mainline, but I won't hold my breath.

They don't need to have a national dex or even all the Pokemon in the wild. People are mostly asking for the ability to transfer them in. I can see having to curate the move lists for all the Pokemon in the case of PLA as being problematic although not impossible.

Bringing old Pokemon to a new Region was fun from a roleplaying standpoint. Crossover between games was one of the things that made Pokemon unique as an RPG. The games themselves reinforced this with things like ribbon collection or small rewards like the Time Travel poster in ORAS for keeping your collection.
