I honestly thought they were fine. Not ambitious in it's features at all, but not as bad as people made them out to be. ILCA set out to do a by-the-numbers remake, and for that, I think what they did is more competent than Sword and Shield, and I'd like to see them continue as the backup team and get more freedom.
Look, it's extremely easy and suffers from some of the same problems as Sword and Shield. Exp All is always on, but for what it's worth while I fainted a Pokemon until the E4, at least I didn't also beat everything in literally one hit like SS. its really easy until the postgame, its still for babies, but it wasn't as boring, and it felt more like a classic Pokemon game, so I enjoyed it. Underground was actually alright.
