But holy shit is this dex full of some of the worst abominations to ever grace the series, I'm not even talking about the fossils, apart from arctovish they're passable and I even like Dracovish, but fuck me, duraludon, carkol, eiscue, stonjourner, blipbug, chewtle, galarian mr mime, and inteleon are just fucking awful, inteleon is maybe the worst starter evolution of all time.
By contrast, PLA saves its monstrosities for pokemon I don't really give a fuck about, like Enamorus and forms of Dialga and Palkia, and Kleavor but I can just use Scizor who's cool so it doesn't matter. Even then the new forms for Dialga and Palkia have the potential to grow on me, I don't even hate Sneedler like a bunch of other people do, it's just a longer sneasel, it's fine, gen 8 has a lot more atrocities in my opinion so it's worse overall, and I love a bunch of PLA mons too like Decidueye, the Zorua line, Basculegion, Ursaluna, Overqwil and Goodra
