They likely made the right call going for a simpler design for the creator Pokémon over something more ridiculous. It looks otherworldly and regal, so I'd call it a great design.

I like the lore, but PLA makes it a bit of a schizo since it doesn't send you back even after you do everything it asks. Obviously I get that's mostly due to the games not wanting to have a definitive 'the game is over, you cant play more' point, but I still feel like it should have been brought up at least.

Would have been more interesting if it was never player obtainable.

I like how explorers portrays Arceus since it's influence is hinted at by Dialga but is never mentioned by name.
