>>49560761Part of me wants to say that this is another situation of Game Freak hating Johto (like the Johto starters being skipped over for Megas and overall having shit movepools/abilities except for Feraligatr). But they gave Typhlosion a regional form with a cool signature move, 119 SpA and even made it the only one of the Hisuian Starters forms to have a unique typing (for a starter), also a bunch of Johto mons got evos so the whole "hating Johto" theory doesn't really work here.
Also, Dialga and Palkia got new forms but they barely count as buffs and look...not good.
