I know it's very late but why what is the problem with this image?
I know a lot of people /vp/ complained about the kommo-o texbox but I never understood the reason why

That hasn't always happened in previous games?

Because the text box being "Sou-ouuund!" instead of an onomatopoeia or something was perceived as Game Freak being very lazy for something so simple. Doesn't help that the same thing happened in Sun & Moon as well.
