>>49568137>the standards for Pokemon games is undeniably lower than it should beIt's actually not. Pokémon games are safe to buy for many, the quality might not be the highest but it's always decent at worst. Some games take risks and sometimes it doesn't pay off, and many franchises suffered from this. Pokémon doesn't and most normies/parents know that and that's why it works so well.
Mario is the same, the only difference is, they recently took risks because they saw how really bad the Wii U era was for them. Pokémon doesn't need to take the same risks, they win enough from marchandises, they don't have to care. It would actually be a bad company move to take too much risks, gamble and spending money just to please some fans won't give them the safe big benefits they are getting.
Could they win more if they take more risks and make better content? Maybe slightly more from the sales of the games, yes. Is it enough to warrant that risk? No shot. I wouldn't if I was the head of the company, and I care about Pokémon, that's how stupid of a move it is. That's easy as an outsider knowing shit about companies to just spout nonsense and act all butthurt about decisions they made after the fact, even more when said decisions are leading to success. If you are not happy, just do as I do, don't buy what you think is not worth your money. Otherwise, you are just one of billions of humans, your lone voice doesn't matter. If you become someone important with power, then maybe but you are bitching on 4chan so...
