I was thinking about it and it actually does make sense as to why Paras/ Parasect are so aggressive in PLA. The mushrooms that control Paras and zombified Parasect are probably trying to pollinate its shrooms to other pokemon and the easiest way to do that is through battle.

Either that or Gamefreak is incompetent and programed them wrong.

If the shrooms are called Tochukaso or whatever, and we know that the Pokemon is actually the shroom, not the bug, then why is it named Paras instead of Tochukaso?
