They did the most that could reasonably be expected. They helped you search for the red chain and explained to Kamado that you were innocent. That being said, I'm kind of disappointed the game doesn't let you be more spiteful to the townspeople who kicked you out for no reason.

But both Irida and Adaman protest it (at first in Kamado's room, then they stop for some reason) meaning it's two on one.

Nothing ingame supports that. It's a dinky village that houses people in need, and Kamado himself says they need to be respectful of the clans since they were there beforehand.

I'm more mad at Lian and Mai for leaving you out to dry. Kamado just kicked you out of the village, he never said no one was allowed shelter you. Especially weird since the Pearl Clan already has Ingo, who also fell from the sky in the same way you did so by Kamado's logic should be considered just as dangerous. At least Irida and Adaman did help you.
