Lucas/Dawn is probably the poorest pokemon protagonist. I felt bad for them. Their parents would be sad.

I know that due to gameplay reasons, the game couldn't end with the MC going back to their own time. But still, it's kinda fucked up to think about, being dragged away from your own time, friends, family, pokemon? and then the story ending with you still stuck in the past. I figured the story would be do the pokedex thing, stop the bad guys and then get to go home. What a hopeless feeling story.

I thought it was just Lucas/Dawn when I first started the game. I still think I'm playing as an incorrectly-named Dawn. Akari is the male player's friend/co-worker. If you play as a female, there is no Akari.

It could likely not be Dawn/Lucas, just lookalike kids from the future/parallel universe. They are from the pokemon world yes but their default names are Rei and Akari.

Guys, Dawn and Lucas do not have unique special designs (Rosa is really the only player protag that does with those buns). Akari and Rei are completely separate kids from the future/dif timeline Pokemon world. Akari fucks Adaman, Rei fucks Irida. Lucas and Dawn are born later.

My guess is these arent Lucas/Dawn, just lookalikes from a parallel universe that then become their ancestors. If Akari is picked as the PC, she is wearing a shirt from Galar I believe.
