Max raid battles were one of the best ideas that Gamefreak has had in ages and you can't tell me otherwise.

Though it was a poorly implemented idea that didn't hit it's true potential, but that's another story

I don’t care what anyone says the Dynamax thing how you stand in front of the Pokemon anime style is fun, the biggest flaw was not having customizable throws.

Some of it's main negatives were:
- No choice between playing with dumbass NPC's or potentially retarded real people.
- The design idea for the shields made sense for preventing the battles to be over too quickly, but the fact that they prevented status moves and could only be destroyed one at a time aside from max moves didn't feel fun.
- The fact that they will just turn off abilities and negate stat changes at some point removes any incentive to strategize
