Sorry for asking this again, but what’s the replay value on sword and shield like? Are there things I can spend hundreds of hours doing like shiny hunting?

You can shiny hunt in any game but that isn't "replay value"

The DLC & multiplayer aspects gives you a lot of reasons to come back but imo it gets boring pretty fast
