The image of the power plant has small ledges on both sides of the door that are around half the player’s height, maybe even less, and look like you can physically just walk over there. With the Unova view, there is a much taller railing with a drop down to who-knows-where, and even if you are in the land you see, you have to scale steep walls to get to the lake area, as well as closely placed trees in the way. Even then, what interesting about getting to that lake? Encountering Pokémon? That’s nothing compared with baiting us with the many possibility with what could be in the other seperate power plant, considering the other power plant had plot relevance regarding how you progress through it.
Additionally, anyone who claims the power plant was placed there for any aesthetic reason and the lake in Unova wasn’t is a clear shitposter with an invalid opinion. What’s better is if they copy and paste responses and swap regional contexts to pretend it all still applies. Fuck them.
