I feel like Cogita definitely came from the Celestica period and may even be literally Cynthia using a different name but there just wasn't enough information to really imply this, only just enough to not entirely rule it out.

Not that anon but I collected the Old Verses and finished her quests but I never got that implication (granted I wasn't paying much attention). It seemed like she was a loremaster/important descendant from the ancient Hisuians and that she possesses some kind of magic or something, but I wouldn't call that a heavy implication that she's immortal, maybe a very light implication.

If she is immortal or a time traveller than maybe she continued to live until modern days to live as Cynthia. Alternatively, she was originally from the Celestica days and travelled forward to modern Sinnoh and became champion, and then went backwards to the time of Legends to become Cogita.

i hate that pokemon games are formatted this way. they introduce so much lore but its never expanded in the same game, you either have to wait for a third version or remakes in 14 years. its all just left behind when the next region rolls around which just adds more shit
