>>49584877So does gritting a pokemon offer a superficial boost?
For example, if I caught an Alpha Sneasel with 3 stats at level 3, then caught a normal sneasel with no stats at level 3. If they're at the same level and have the same nature, I can grit the normal sneasel to level 3 in the same stats the alpha has 3, and their stats will be exactly the same, correct? So what you're telling me is that even though they look the exact same on the info screens, the game remembers the hidden values of both sneasels, and when I transfer them to HOME, the Sneasel that I gritted will have its stat boosts deleted and it'll go back to being a shitmon?
Doesn't it make more sense for it to keep the 31 IVs when transferred to Home since I took the time to grit it?
