PSA to all Onix bros, they can normally be found in the wild larger than alphas
Also you can tutor Power Shift for a base 160 attack stat

I tried this and it seemed worse than just using Calm Mind. Did I just not test it enough, or do the changes to damage calcs make Power Shift not as great as it should be?

Damage is too high in general, I had the most success with Blissey just doing Calm mind soft boiled tri attack draining kiss. It’s mostly just funny to wonder if that would make it to mainline.

Lads the alpha steelix is still bigger (after evolving big onix) hes wider and just looks bigger. Despite non alpha Steelix being taller by a few feet.

Also Gyrados can spawn larger non alphas.

Does anyone have an Alpha Mantine they can post? The size difference serebii has for that one is crazy, and I want to see it myself.

Is it actually possible to get minimum size?
I gave up on finding a 2'4 Gligar after find 3'1 at best and have been working on a 0'10 Swinub and the smallest I've gotten was 1'2.
It feels like the minimum sizes are placeholders and not actually achievable in game.

I guess on the plus side I found two shiny male Buneary.
That was totally worth the trouble.

Unless they actually went out of their way to make the minimum size be way more rare than the rest of the range I don't think it's actually a thing, I don't know where Serebii got their data from but I'm guessing they just looked at the table of ranges and not at the system that actually uses this table to generate a pokemon.
