I can’t refute this but they could have done much better. Shorter tail, slightly different body, bigger paws than midday, one floppy ears etc.. Dusk is just really damn lazy for me design wise. Makes me like it far less than the other two.

Ah well, it mostly exists for Ash anyway so they can have their cake and eat it to with the Ash tries to get control of an unruly Pokémon but it’s only unruly in battle where it’s most effective for drama so it can still be marketably friendly the rest of the time
