I think it's pathetic that Legends fans are begging for DLC 1 week after release. They claim that the game isn't scarce for content and better than every other entry yet it's clear there wasn't enough meat on the bone to sustain them

Fair enough, my point is that at hundreds of hours of playtime, paying $30 for more content in a game is a good value-add. If you play it that much and hate it, you’re under no obligation to pay in further.

Oh no, 60 bucks for a game I'm currently at 50 hours in and increasing and 30 bucks for another 20ish hours added onto it in a time where 30 years ago video games were 60 bucks and lasted an hour at best if you weren't trash.

When they coped by saying Sun and Moon was an improvement over Gen 6 when it did nothing but remove content and add what was there at the last minute.
Legends is the emergence from the dark age we've been in since X and Y. DLC is not a bad thing when the game is already complete and good.

DLC for SS was good, but the overall game was trash. DLC should've been base game, and it's not worth buying either.
PLA is somehow a good game that makes me want more. However, knowing Game Freak, I'm 1000% sure that they just got really fucking lucky, and I don't know when I will ever get another good Pokemon game.
Basically, DLC is the only thing I can safely assume it will deliver more good content for an already good Pokemon game.
Anything else in the future is a gamble, and with Game Freak as the dealer I really don't wanna bet on it

Nyooooom. 2007 was the tipping point for big games. Every year I realize this more. Tons of decent indie games get shit out constantly though so unlike the popular opinion on /v/ video games are most certainly not dead. Hell indie game studios are the size of old AAA studios
