They make Attacking and Speed versions of the Eviolite.

What Pokemon now run them? Are they any good?

I don't think it'd become more useful than it's evolution though. I tried to only list those I think would become as good or even better than their evolutions. There are plenty of mons I didn't list that would become decent, like most of the starter mid-evos.

Yup. 5 BST faster (135 compared to 130) with only 5 BST less specA (65 compared to 70) if it had a "speed" eviolite. Objectively better since you're using either mon for speed.

I don't get it? You're trading power for speed. So if you want power over speed then use crobat? You'd use the speed eviolite to get speed without using an item that limits you to one attack. So it's a faster crobat with all attacks available rather than a choice scarf crobat with only one attack available per switch in.

No one is saying crobat is bad or that you'd have to use golbat over it. It just that golbat would very much benefit from the speed eviolite. That's undeniable.

The problem with offense Eviolite is that you can just use the final stage with Life Orb or something, something defensive Pokemon really don’t have.
Also NFE Pokemon, they are usually slow and frail, so a 1.5x boost will only be worthwhile in very low tier.

Eviolite is 1.5x and Golbats speed stat is 90. So 90 × 1.5 = 135.

The multiplier isn't applied over the base stat, but the real number instead, so for lv 100+positive nature+252 EVs+31 IVs it would be 160.

It very much wouldn't benefit from a speed eviolite. Crobat is already tied for the 14th fastest Pokemon in the game, and there is very little that the extra speed boost would let it outspeed that would be worth giving up the extra bulk and attack power for. Golbat already runs Eviolite in ZU because the bulk is more important.

Now, with an attack boost, it most certainly would be used more in lower tiers. 90 base speed isn't good, but it's certainly more than enough in the tiers where the average speed is like 70.

Yes, but Sneasel gets to choose what attacks it wants without taking recoil damage. It could run all the same attacks Weavile does AND Swords Dance to bust through, say, Toxapex (+2 252 Atk Choice Band Sneasel Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 204-241 (67.1 - 79.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO) or Ferrothorn (+2 252 Atk Choice Band Sneasel Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Ferrothorn: 416-490 (118.1 - 139.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO)

Not saying it'd necessarily be OU, but it'd definitely be in the tier below Weavile
