You could trade your Pokemon to someone, and they trade you the Pokemon back, and it counts as +1 for the "caught" mark

It does, actually. Getting level 10 research on a Pokemon increases the odds of finding that species as a shiny, and perfecting their entry increases it even more.

I meant the dex as a whole. You get no reward.
Unless you are going super autism wanting a shiny of each there's no point. And even so the amount of effort put into perfecting everything might as well be put into just shiny hunting which would likely be way easier.

I'm going to complete the dex, but not perfect it. I already have a LiveDex on Home so there's no need to even touch the game once I've completed the Dex and transferred the new Forms/Pokemon over.

Both. Level 10 increases shiny odds for that specific Pokemon. Perfecting every research task for that species increases it even more.

bonsly absolutely will appear on the overworld, just below the alpha roserade. Head south until you hit a cliff, there will be two sudo's and a bunch of combees. One of the sudo's can be a bonsly 5-8% of the time. There's also a rock outcrop there, so you can try that if it's shaking too
