>>49595728I have that book too. It's called Pikachu Meets the Press: A Pokemon Newspaper Comic or something along those lines. Except the book was reprinted in such a retarded way. They sandwiched all the black and white comics between the color comics, not accounting for the fact that the comics have slight continuity, where the weekday comics were black and white, and the sunday special was color, and like with a lot of newspaper comics, there were little "arcs" that get resolved in the sunday strip. Also certain characters get introduced in a weird order.
Not that continuity is important in a funnybook but it still messes with the flow of things.
Bit of an oddball comic that, it is set in it's own continuity where Ash and Misty go to school but does expect you to have a decent underestanding of the anime and it's events since it references some of them, but also Ash hasn't even met Team Rocket yet in this book, and Ash still has Metapod who and his Metapod likes to have these long existential rants. It's wild and could only have existed during pokemania.
