no SHIT its not accurate because your opponent hasn't chosen their move style yet. the turn list shows you how the turns are going to go depending on what youre about to do and the speed of both pokemon. it does not take into account what your opponent is going to do because obviously they arent making that decision until you have made your move.

Agiile, Std, and Strong speeds are how the move affects the user when calculating the next turn.
Target speed is how much it affects the enemy.
I don't know what move that is, but context clues would be able to tell you if higher numbers are better or not.

Then Gengar has 0 while Rotom has 1.
Whoever has the lower number moves first.
So say Gengar uses >>49594542 with Agile Style. Now it has 2. Rotom still has 1, so it moves can move.
Now Rotom uses >>49594493 with Agile Style. This increases Rotom's priority, reducing -4 from the total. Rotom now has -3 while Gengar has 2. Rotom moves again.
Now Rotom uses the same move but with Strong Styles. This adds two to Rotom (now -1) and 3 to Gengar (now 5).
But then, couldn't Rotom keep using that move forever since it will always make it go before Gengar? No, because the move has recoil and now Rotom is fucking dead.

OP's a poor example since Wave Crash already has -4 priority like Quick Attack. Agile buffs or status ailments (Paralysis, Drowsy) are a significant advantage if you can make use of their lower duration.

Strong Style does have more move power, accuracy, increased status/buff duration and secondary effect chance, but you will probably eat shit by being lapped in turns if you lack Speed or don't secure the kill / lack bulk for the retaliation.

It depends on the moves both of you select. If the move Kamado picked has a lower Speed value than the move you picked, then he'll move first. It's counterintuitive but that's how it works. Lower numbers = better.

These numbers have nothing do to with the Speed stat of the pokémon, but with turn priority.

We'll probably never know unless dataminers discover a miracle in how much Speed influences turn order, initiative, and turn delay with the style/move modifiers. Without PvP, that and damage calcs are difficult to determine. From the Smogon thread linked earlier, we know stat calcs and that STAB is 1.25x at best.

We can calculate Jolteon's 130 base speed to ~414, ~440 with a +Speed nature, ~388 with a -Speed nature at Lv. 100 and Effort Level 10.

Thunderbolt and High Horsepower are both 0 priority moves, and whether or not switched in Pokemon get a turn or not is dependent on those yet unidentified mechanics, because it can go both ways.

In trainer battles, a Pokemon coming in after a fainted one is guaranteed the first move. Or at least has a high chance of it.

That's bullshit, and you can test it yourself
Go to the training grounds and fight the first two Survey corps or something
As long as you are using a decently fast Pokemon, you will always one shot them before they can even select a single move

Now fight Zisu, and you will immediately notice that she does this consistently, she will almost always act first
And do keep in mind one of the survey members even has Jolteon
Maybe Luxray won't do it because it's a slow mon, but even so, Honchkrow is way faster than Jolteon, which should not happen

Of course this is assuming a team of level 55 something

That’s why if you face them closer to their level they’ll get 2-3 turns in which they can run away before you can even do anything.
