that said i always felt like the "new york" element dropped off past castelia. i guess nimbasa is kinda like coney island and broadway and whatever but once you get to driftveil i dont really feel it anymore. obviously new york is a major trade port but the mining industry aspect mentally puts it more westward for me. this shit clearly doesnt map 1:1, but still.
