I appreciate Masquerain but this was such bullshit, why didn't they just keep it a water strider. Those can already fly anyway so what's the idea. I can see Surskit being a prime candidate for one of those regional evolutions

I fucking hate Surskit. I grinded for hours in Ruby to catch him, and then even more so to evolve him because I thought "something this rare MUST evolve into something cool!" Nope.

Only upside was since I was like 13 and had no job I was emulating so I could use turbo speed mode. Dumb ass parents wanted me to use my allowance to buy the physical game but I was saving that for a Razor scooter.
