>>49612042>>49612063>"things I like have SOUL, things I don't like are SOULLESS"This is literally untrue.
>SOUL-Clearly had a lot of effort and care put in.
-Contains elements of personal touch denoting it as a labor of love.
-Makes immersion so easy you don't even notice it happening.
-Stays with you and makes you want to come back again and again, even years later.
-Product is as promised or even impresses for going above and beyond.
>SOULLESS-Low effort rush job, corporate move over all else.
-No personal touch, everything is sanitized to protect the brand at all cost.
-Immersion is close to impossible because of how jarring and unnatural everything feels.
-Completely forgettable, even if you finish the game you'll never touch it again or even want to.
-Product is not as promised, fails to even meet the lowest bar. (For example, Glimwood Tangle and by extension Ballonlea were hyped up with a 24 hour nature stream when said zone was something you spend around 30 seconds in, maybe 5 minutes if you battle all the trainers and grab all the items.)
