-Box legends (Steel/Dragon and Psychic/Dark) are not counterparts but leaders of their own duo each

-Features 94 new Pokemon, no regional forms in the base game
-All starters are dual type from the start. Grass/Bug, Water/Ice and Fire/Rock
-Return of Alpha Pokemon via the overworld and gym battles. Some alphas have form changes.
-Significant graphical improvements akin to Pokken, somewhat more realistic than before but not as much as Pokken. Dex is limited again but this is understandable with the presentation upgrade.
