I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch is followed by a more powerful 2.0 version of the Switch. Could be the Switch 2, Super Switch, Switch Up, etc.

the biggest evidence for this is that BDSP is about to overtake LGPE's 3 year sales in the course of about 4 months. Every "faithful"-ish remake will probably just be handled by ILCA from now on. That way GF can focus exclusively on flagship new gen titles (like SwSh) and the more ambitious/experimental Legends games.

There have a hard limit on the amount of tegra chips. I'm pretty sure back around September nintendo secured the last 30 million chips. I think the hard cap for switch sales is around 120 million. This is why I truly believe we are getting a switch 2 in march 2023.
