I had another idea how to fix most of the shiny fuck ups. Instead of 1 shiny palette, make a range of colors a shiny can have (or maybe just make it 100% random idk). It fixes the bland/the fuck ugly shinies, all shinies from previous games could retain their old colours, and people crying about value of shinies would stfu as well. It's a win win solution.

Speaking of shinies, I prefer Kalosian slug to Hisuian slug. Yes the Hisuian form is supposed to be a "throwback" like with the Galarian birds but the birds did it better.

You can just lazily swap the red and the blue and already it's miles better than "turned the saturation down 2 notches" and "magenta on top of more magenta"

I just wish they had chosen a different shade to be honest. Charizard is cool since his shiny is an iconic “black dragon,” Dragonite could have been a classic green dragon but they made it way too light and the purple wing highlights dont help either.
They honestly should have made it white or gold. Those are good dragon colors
