I would say give more mons to the leaders, flare admins, rivals and elite 4, also a mega. It's really fucked up how you can pretty much sweep the region from the third badge onwards while even the elite 4 don't have a mega to stop you

Also, some important trainers don't even have a complete moveset on some pokemon, like your rival's starter, that only has 2 moves, one for each stab.

No because XY are genuinely trash. The only difficult game in the series is USUM and maybe SWSH if you count the DLC.

Most of them aren't anymore. Games used to be made without the expectation that they would be beaten. That's how you end up with literally unbeatable shit on the NES. When art fags started shitting up the community it became more about making sure players could access all the available content. People felt they were entitled to see the entire game, regardless of skill.

I was apprehensive of the exp share at first but it's not a bad addition. Lets you raise more Pokemon and cycle them out. And the people who use just one pokemon will still have an underleveled team except for that one because 50% XP.

You can't, unless you intentionally gimp yourself, in some games you have to gimp more than others. You also have to not be a pussy and walk back to the nearest pokemon center after every battle, and consider actually buying and using items.

- no using exp share, wild pokemons above your levels, Pokémon Amie bonuses
- no fighting trainers you can go around
- keeping to a team of 6 (as in, don't change for type advantage in one battle)

Add gen 5 exp. scaling
Add Challenge mode that also gives gym leaders post Korrina megas
Make that if you hit the level of the current gym/E4/boss's ace your ability to level up decreases drastically
Make it so on Challenge mode you can't use any Revives in important battles

Those were the easiest after XY

The games have been easy since BW. Audino farming marked the downfall of pokemon.
