not claiming its the best but i replayed the game a lot as a kid and would usually end up with something pretty close to this by the end of the game every time

This team I made as a kid in Yellow. No, it's not supposed to be Red's team from HGSS (that came years later), it's based on Ash's team in the Orange Islands, just with evolved Squirtle and Bulbasaur. Nothing can beat the joy and pride of a dumb little kid that thinks he's accomplished something special and unique. Also, it was the first time I really built a team rather than just using an over-leveled starter all the way through.

This team in Pokemon Sun. My friends and I all used a different Oricorio form and I got someone to trade me a Shellos egg because I've always wanted to use the blue version. I went out of my way to look for a snow warning Vanillite too because I loved the Pokemon for a while but never got a chance to use it before.
