There should be more focus on human characters/Trainers from this point forward, not to take the focus away from Pokemon themselves but rather to really emphasize the relationship between humanity and Pokemon. It's been extremely one-sided and I'm tired of it, but it has been getting better. 90% guaranteed that everyone who disagrees is either a massive furry or thinks I'm a coomer when I feel like it's just an aspect that isn't explored enough but is talked about all the time like it is.
>>49627282Yes and no. Kanto pandering is expected because it's the foundation of the entire series, but Game Freak handles it in the most obnoxious way possible. Kanto isn't bad, nor is liking Gen 1 bad, but the cheap cashgrabby way that Kanto is constantly pushed is almost a disrespect to the integrity of the games that its so prevalent in. Like saying "these games are never going to sell on their own, so we need to put Mewtwo and Charizard in them for them to be successful". Galar was probably the worst the franchise has ever seen. Hopefully with PLA not being filled to the brim with it and selling well will tell TPCi that they don't need to use it as the crutch that they've been treating it.
