This is a list of what PLA is missing and should have added just out of respect to customers. Nobody should pay for this game let alone buy extra shit of little value. I get that it’s fun and chill but the game just isn’t finished.

even if just 2 or 3 areas i really want a new region. the game constantly mentions that the galaxy expedition is from another region so i think it would be great. what would be even more soulful is instead of releasing a new game next year or this year they could just release a 5/6 area dlc in a completely different region, it could even have its own standalone story and a battle facility would be appreciated

To specify a bit more I want Ninjask, Ariados, Greninja, Hariyama, Shiftry, Golisopod (and their entire lines obviously) and Mawile. Mostle because muh japanese aesthetics.

And since we are on it, may be some more japanese looking cute characters, likea a female ninja and if not some steampunkish character

would rather they make all the pokemon available in SwSh with a new battle facility. The effort to make DLC for this game could be saved for making gen 9 actually good. Besides, cool functionalities aside, this game looks like piss, a new area isn't going to be worth the wait

Hope it includes Celebi because time travel. And it has them time travel shenanigans into the next Legends game which will be Legends Celebi also set in the past, and we get to see stuff like the tower fire, Lugia going to the sea, and Celebi with the shrine and stuff in the forest. Plus it would have Kurt again for the Apricorns.

They just need a smaller team to make the DLC and leave the rest to Gen 9 or the game after that.

It will definitely have all the remaining 30 or so mons from the dexcut just so Gamefreak can say every Pokémon was usable in some Gen 8 game. Those that fit the least with the game's old timey Japanese aesthetic will get regional forms.

Besides that, the fact that below Twinleaf and the battle zone are both obscured by clouds in the map hints at the idea that we'll get two DLC with two new zones.

we knew in the first nintendo direct after its release.

My hopes are Battle Zone and Sinjoh, and honestly I'm kinda expecting it to be that. The cloud cover over the Alabaster Icelands clears out, and the cloud cover over The Battle Zone, and South Sinnoh where Sinjoh is just like that cloud cover was. It also fits the dual release pattern that SWSH had.

Now as far as how they execute it, my hopes and dreams are probably leaps and bounds above the reality we'll get. I HOPE for Ingo to be a central part of a plotline frontiering the Battle Zone, finding Emmet in the process, and the two together establishing the worlds first Battle Frontier. Which draws in audiences and trainers to the Battle Zone port from around the world, greatly increasing the number of trainer battles in the game and giving an excuse for lots of out of region Pokemon to be added to the dex.
My hope for Sinjoh is to have the lore expanded on in some meaningful way, and to have an addition to the Johto legendary pantheon. Maybe like a boss unown or something.
Would like at least a few more cross gen evos, regional forms are ok, but those are even better (although some Sinjohnian formes over Hisuian would be badass for a Sinjoh area). Dream of dreams is that the legends game introduces a 100% new pokemon not tied to a previous one like Enamorous was. Would be very disappointed if no other Pokemon were added in DLC.
