Generated a series of Bugs that (at least to me) actually look like feasible Bugs, going in order here's some stuff I came up with;
> Psychic/Bug
A caterpillar that developed a strong sensory organ on the crest of its head that is able to detect predators by reading their minds. Its body is covered in large downy fur that protects it from the elements.
> Normal/Bug
Symbiotic louse Pokemon that attaches itself to larger Pokemon to survive, their durable shells are shed frequently but provide remarkable protection for both the Pokemon and its host.
> Dark/Bug
A Pillbug Pokemon, they're known to hide among the undergrowth and wait until nightfall when they go around to Pokemon's nests and steal their eggs. Their large helmet-like skull protects them from various bird Pokemon that attempt to attack them. In a pinch they're known to roll into a ball and use their arms as steering to escape.
> Fire/Bug
This crustacean Pokemon lives in volcanic environments, often immersing itself in lava, they develop their shells by leaving their lava pools for extended periods of time. Sometimes the shells come out with a brilliant glossy appearance that is prized among stone enthusiasts, although difficult to obtain as the Pokemon is very protective of its shell even if only temporary.
> Rock/Bug
A termite-like Pokemon, as they mature they fulfil different roles within their colonies. Those with the most sturdy shells become knights in the hive, their carapace becoming heavier and sturdier and developing club-like limbs to bash invading Pokemon with. They're described as quite moody around humans although docile when near their queen.
> Ice/Bug
A solitary Pokemon that lives high in the mountains, its long back-facing antennae lets this Pokemon read the wind to determine the best means of traversal. Its incredibly low body temperature allows it to dwell in the freezing ice fields without issue and is known to hunt smaller Pokemon. In the past humans have used these Pokemon as Sherpas.
