i think colors affect us a lot

remember back when the nintendo wii was the "revolution", and it was black instead of white? the glowing blue light with that crisp blackness was like a death star or something, it was cool. It was cool because it was a mystery, and it was called the revolution. But it was also cool because it was black.

Then they revealed the official name, the "Nintendo Wii". Da fuq? Now it's white and I'm gonna be playing with my Wii. Nintendo cucked us with a wimpy pathetic white console when we could've had a cool, intimidating black console.

I think we can all agree that black is cooler than white, and that applies in all contexts. Every color triggers an emotion, blue is calm, red is danger (blood/fire), etc. This is a subconscious thing that you cannot control so don't beat yourself up about enjoying these emotions.

Whether you're black or white, our brains function the same and we will always register the cooler color as cool. It's just facts.

It's also why blue shinies are better; blue is just one of the best colors.
