Its supposed to be a fucking zombie, the normal/ghost represents it being in an undead state. It died because of the cold and thats why it has those gross red tumors but was brought back to life witj the same corpse. Now its vengeful and hunts humans. Is it that hard to understand

But it was a dark type when it died, not a normal type. This would only make sense if it were already a normal type when it died since it would make no sense to trade dark for normal upon death.

Why would the original not just be a regular Zorua? It was sent to die in a frozen wasteland because people didn't like its illusions, and it had the Dark type in the first place because it was a tricky illusion fox.
