Leaks are for little sissy boys that can't handle the reality of an uncertain fate. This thread is for those who want to divine the results of the Pokemon Presents through their own means and speculate on what would be fun to have happen or might happen on Sunday.
My personal take?
There's literally no fucking way it's gen 9. I don't think gen 9 is literally ever happening. Gamefreak calls Legends mainline regardless of what you think about the game or that fact, they still call it mainline. They announced the split announcement of Legends and BDSP as a "new direction" for the series. And they're very clearly struggling under the sheer number of Pokemon and moves, as evidenced from their continued and worsening struggles around Pokemon's presentation and the dex in the 3D era, all the way up to Legends, where Gamefreak is clearly able to breath and improve the presentation of each Pokemon under the weight of less Pokemon each game. I think it's pretty obvious we're entering a new paradigm of half legends, half multiplayer/old mechanics releases.
