Working on trying to get the shiny charm before I try my patience at grinding for shiny alphas. no luck so far and it sucks having to settle for stinky outbreak mons but I just can't use a regular pokemon on my team anymore

alpha shinies are rare and specifically alpha distortion or non outbreak or static alpha spawning shinies are insanely rare

I’ve had more luck with shinies in this game than any other (like everyone else) but I don’t think I’ll ever get a team full of my favorite shinies that are also the right sizes

I found two shiny Pikachu in an outbreak early on, then a full odds shiny Porygon in a distortion who I fully evolved and used for the remainder of the main story.

Post game I’ve been going great so far. Shiny Monferno and two shiny Scyther. I’m having a blast this is my first time doing any form of shiny hunting. Love that it’s ridiculously easy.

Is it just my luck or are shinies more common in the morning(IRL)? I tend to get multiple back to back in the mornings but in the afternoon/night/late night I might get one every 5ish rezones.

Yeah, I havent even finished the game and have like 35 shinies... no alphas though. I know I will have to use my starter with 5 shinies but idk who to pick at this point. So now I just hunt and think of who to use, not that it even f-in matters.

It took me a total play time of 140ish hours to get my first shiny Alpha. While regular shinies I have almost a two boxes full of them in PLA.
If you want to E peen flex on fools Shiny Alphas are the ONLY way to do so in PLA. With Spirittomb being the pinnacle.

Hershey and Takoyaki were found about an hour apart from each other, Lime just walked up to me while i was waiting for a distortion to start, i just barely caught the shiny sparkles on Gussita (a paras at the time, thought it was a sparkling crystal at first) and Lovely Boy was found while looking for the last of the wisps, ill evolve him soon.

i plan on hunting Alpha Raichu soon

The idea I wanted to do was to use ONLY Shiny Hisuian forms to beat the game But I ended up getting a Alpha Rotom and sticked with him...not that it mattered Ursaluna bodied everything by himself.

Use the Heavy Ball line unless the colors match with the others. It sticks out the most due to being ALL black, and you have to get right up on the mon to use it so it takes the most "skill".

I got these 3 plus a luxrio (I found a second shiny luxio right after but accidentally KO'd it lel). Pretty cool since ambipom and gardevoir were both on my main team. I only just noticed the shiny aipom out of the corner of my eye as I was flying overhead to go somewhere else. Haven't been actively hunting them but I go check out the occasional outbreak

Every time I see a shiny Garchomp it reminds me of an obscure webcomic from 2008 that was one of those "two gamers on a couch" ones that were so common back in the day where one of the guys is trying to flex with all his shinies but the other one either thinks they're all garish and ugly or (with Garchomp) doesn't even notice they're shiny.
